Date: June 4, 2007 Contact: INDIANAPOLIS, Indiana—For the third straight year, the Morales Group, Inc took an active role in organizing and sponsoring the Latino Swing Golf Classic. This golf tournament raises funds for the Latino Community Development Corporation, a non-profit group, which supports various Hispanic community assistance programs in the Indianapolis area. Tom Morales, president and CEO of the Morales Group served as tournament director. “I enjoy contributing my time and resources to this outing because it helps raise funds for our annual ‘Santa Comes to Town’ event, which enables the Latino Community Development Corporation to feed over 1,000 families and provide toys for 5,000 children during the holidays,” said Tom Morales. “The Golf Classic also exposes Corporate America to the work being done in the Latino Community.” The event took place on May 18 at the Brickyard Crossing Golf Course with 36 teams and 144 participants. Along with the round of golf, a fund-raising auction was conducted and participants were able to visit the Indianapolis Speedway and view practice runs by a number of cars and drivers.
