INDIANAPOLIS, Indiana— On Thursday October 19, The Morales Group, Inc opened its doors to community leaders, clients and friends for an open house gallery to celebrate Latino art in Indiana. The event was called “Art is at the essence of any culture, particularly the Latino culture,” said Tom Morales, president and founder of Morales Group, Inc. “At Morales Group we live our Latino heritage everyday and we wanted to share a little part of our life with our friends and clients by recognizing the work of some talented Latino artists in Indiana.” The event took place at Morales Group’s headquarters in the Northwest side of Indianapolis. Community leaders from all backgrounds and business sectors came to this Latino Art Celebration from four to The gallery displayed seventeen art pieces from Latino artists in Central Indiana. The event featured Magdalena Hoyos-Segovia, a renowned Latino artist from Indiana, who has showcased her work in venues in Brazil and New York, among other places. Marco A. Ladrón De Guevara, a Mexican artists and architect, was also featured among other artists including: Manuel de Jesús Velazquez Torres, Orlando Pelaez, Roberto Espinoza, and Guillermo Ceniceros.
